La sal de roca de Kłodawa contiene (en trazas) una serie de microelementos naturales necesarios para el correcto funcionamiento del cuerpo humano, tales como: hierro, calcio, magnesio, zinc y potasio. Los bioelementos contenidos en la sal de Kłodawa forman complejos que el cuerpo absorbe fácilmente.

Debido a la falta de yodo, no se recomienda la sal de roca no yodada para consumo. Sin embargo, como conservante natural, es perfecto para enlatar.
