Unrefined borage oil is obtained by cold-pressing borage seed, which has a cucumber flavor and aftertaste from its leaves. It is characterized by a high content of unsaturated fatty acids: linoleic and gamma-linolenic acid, i.e. GLA (approx. 21-25%).

The oil also contains mineral salts (including silicic acid), vitamin C, tannins and flavonoids, saponins and trace elements such as magnesium, potassium, zinc and iron.

Borage oil has a diuretic effect. It supports the cleansing of the body from harmful metabolic products. Helps with damage to the mucous membranes of the mouth, esophagus, gastrointestinal tract.. Supports the work of the immune system. It also has a calming effect and increases well-being. Improves intellectual functions. It is also used in the diet of pets such as dogs and cats. Borage oil contains 34-linoleic acid 40%,
oleic acid 14-18%,
tocopherols 1478 mg/kg (Zadernowski et al. 2002),
Sterols 290 mg/100 g, of which ß-sitosterol 108.1 mg/100 g (Phillips et al . . 2002) and traces of carotenoids (approx. 23 mg/kg).

APPLICATION :
