Those used in the product New Zealand mussels (green-lipped mussels) come from the Malraborough region at the tip of New Zealand's South Island. The product is standardized to glycosaminoglycans (GAG), the content of which is 32.4 mg in the daily dose. The mussel is freeze-dried, proving that the product maintains high quality without the risk of oxidation or the activity of unwanted microorganisms.
