When you place an order, we estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that shipping costs for many of the items we sell are based on weight. The weight of such an item can be found on the detail page. All weights are rounded up to the nearest whole pound to reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Poppy is our native Polish plant. It grows naturally throughout Europe, in meadows, fields and parks. For culinary purposes, unusual fruits of this flower are used - tiny seeds enclosed in a characteristic sac. Blue poppy is currently the most popular. White poppy seeds are used for traditional St. Martin's croissants and other sweet baked goods.
Poppy seeds have also been used in folk medicine for many years. The opium from this plant has historically been used to make powerful sedatives and painkillers. Of course, the blue poppy used in the kitchen differs in its composition from the medicinal poppy and does not contain such strong addictive substances.
Blue poppy is a real treasure of valuable nutrients. 100 g of poppy seeds contain over 40 g of fats, mainly unsaturated fats. According to the tabular data, these seeds contain over 25 g of omega-6 fatty acids. They are among the EFAs that have been shown to have beneficial effects on the human body.
Blue poppy seeds are mainly used as an additive in baked goods. It can be used as a topping, mainly for bread. In sweet cakes and croissants, it is used for a thick and flavorful filling.
Blue poppy seeds can also be used in more unusual ways. It is suitable as a nourishing addition to cocktails and porridge. It can be an ingredient in homemade whole grain bars and cookies. Also worth noting is the ability to use the beans to make home scrubs.
