Omega 3-6-9 Fatty Acid Capsules contain fish, flaxseed and borage oils. They represent a comprehensive set of fatty acids in the product, complementing the existing supply of essential fatty acids. Essential fatty acids, such as those found in fish, flax, and borage oils, are required for many physiological functions, including generating electrical impulses that stimulate the heart, strengthening the immune system, and providing structural components to the brain and nervous system.
Recent studies have shown the importance of fatty acid balance, meaning the ratio of omega 6 to omega 3. Solgar's Omega 3-6-9 Fatty Acid Capsules contain more omega 3 fatty acids from fish and flaxseed. They are supplemented by high-quality omega 6 fatty acids from borage and linseed as well as omega 9 in the form of oleic acid, which is also obtained from linseed oil.
Omega 3-6-9 fatty acid capsules provide a variety of fatty acids from multiple sources, making it a comprehensive PREPARATION of fatty acids that support many physiological functions. It is ideal for people looking to add a quality fatty acid supplement to their healthy fat diet. It contains the lowest possible amount of so-called free fatty acids, which are an indicator of freshness (the higher the free fatty acid content, the greater the rancidity of the oil).
