The BC-2 probiotic consists of 2 billion probiotic Bacillus Coagulans bacteria encapsulated in a capsule.

Bacillus coagulans (aka Lactobacillus sporogenes) produces only L(+) lactic acid, which is completely metabolized to glycogen.
