Sage oil also has cosmetic properties, helping to relieve acne lesions and skin inflammation and reduce sebum secretion. It reduces the signs of skin aging, such as wrinkles and reduced elasticity and firmness. When used in body massage, it can help combat stretch marks and cellulite. Because it stimulates circulation, it can help improve the condition of the skin. It can also be added to shampoo or conditioner to strengthen hair and prevent brittleness and excessive hair loss. It also helps get rid of stubborn dandruff.
Sage essential oil – how to use it
The oil has a quite intense, distinctive, and somewhat herbal aroma. It can be used in a variety of ways. You can use it for relaxing or therapeutic massages. Add a few drops to your bath or to cosmetics like shampoos and conditioners. Contraindications to the use of sage oil
Due to its camphor content, it should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is not recommended for people suffering from high blood pressure or epilepsy. Use in young children and people with sage allergies is not recommended. Sage essential oil is not suitable for consumption.
