All this is due to the rich composition of the salt, which is rich in valuable minerals. It contains:

What are the effects of Bochnia salt?

The use of iodine-bromine salt can have a positive effect on many different diseases and conditions. It is used for:

How do I use Bochnia salt?

One of the most popular ways to use this healing salt is to prepare a bath with it. Add 100 to 300 grams of salt per 10 liters of hot water. This bath should last about 15 minutes and has a relaxing, inhalational, soothing, and analgesic effect on the skin. After the bath, the entire body should be rinsed with salt and, after drying, a moisturizing lotion should be applied. The salt bath can also be used to soak tired feet.

For coughs, colds, or blocked sinuses, you can also prepare an inhalation based on Bochnia salt. To prepare the inhalation, add three tablespoons of salt to one liter of hot water. It's best to mix water and salt in a bowl. Then, bend over the solution and inhale for a few minutes. You can cover your head with a towel during this time. Inhalation helps clear a blocked nose, moisturize the throat, and relieve a persistent cough.

It's worth using Bochnia salt regularly and over a longer period of time. Although it has a gentle effect and can be used by allergy sufferers and people with sensitive skin, it is not recommended for:

  • hyperthyroidism,
  • circulatory failure,
  • Hypertension,
  • Tuberculosis,
  • Cancer,
  • severe skin inflammation.
