Peanuts & Co.: Il burro di arachidi più popolare a colpo d'occhio
We all know that to stay healthy and fit, we should eat more fruits and vegetables. In fact, we should not only eat a lot more of fruit and vegetables, but of plants in general: fruit, vegetables, legumes, seeds and nuts!
Of the above, the latter is particularly important - nuts are a veritable treasury of valuable vitamins and trace elements and delicious at the same time! One of the easiest — and what shall I say, tastiest — ways to incorporate them into your daily diet is with peanut butter. "Butter", not "butter", because there is much more to it than just the well-known peanut butter!
almond butter
Not only is this type of peanut butter considered the tastiest (it tastes like sugar-free marzipan), it's also chock-full of healthy monounsaturated fats. It also contains a solid dose of calcium and magnesium. A fantastic solo, on sandwiches, topping healthy cakes or as a simple dip for fruit and vegetables.
Coconut Butter
Note: This is not the same as coconut oil! Coconut butter is made by blending the flesh of the coconut without squeezing out the fat. It has a pleasantly smooth, creamy texture that makes it perfect for adding to desserts! Coconut is the source of the only healthy saturated fatty acid, thanks to which it has a positive effect on cholesterol levels - both "good" and "bad".
Cashew butter
Another butter with an extremely smooth consistency, much appreciated by plant-based butter connoisseurs. It's slightly sweet and mild, so it pairs well with other flavors and makes cashew butter a great base for all kinds of vegan sauces.
Walnut butter
This butter may be the tastiest source of omega-3 fatty acids in your daily diet! Unfortunately, it's the omega-3 fatty acids that make this type of butter go bad relatively quickly, so it needs to be refrigerated and eaten as soon as possible. For this reason, it is worth preparing them yourself: In a solid blender, mix the nuts, which have been gently roasted in a pan, until smooth.
Brazil nut butter
Brazil nuts are one of the world's richest sources of selenium, an element that, among other things, is responsible for the proper functioning of the immune system. Like the nuts it's made from, it's noticeably greasy and oily - it fully deserves the name "butter"! It's also worth making Brazil nut butter at home and then using it in unique desserts and pastries, or simply adding a spoonful to oatmeal or spreading on a sandwich.
Peanut butter (peanut)
Why are we discussing the most popular type of peanut butter last? Because the well-known and popular peanut butter is actually made of ... not nuts! And we're not talking about the fact that there are brands on the market that have peanuts in less than half the composition (terrible, right?
Fortunately, in our shop you will only find those whose composition is perfect and 100% nutty), but about the fact that peanuts are actually a type of bean.Just look at their skins - typically bean! Forgive this deception, though, because not only is it delicious and so versatile in its uses (you don't even have to use your imagination to find a use for it from breakfast to dinner!), it's also rich in nutrients Especially the high protein content makes it ideal for active people.
