Colfarm Sodium Butyrate 60 k

Colfarm Sodium Butyrate is a food for special medical purposes for adults. It contains sodium butyrate in the form of micropellets with delayed release, encapsulated in acid-resistant cellulose capsules. The butyrate contained in the capsules is a short-chain fatty acid that serves as an energy source for the intestinal epithelium and has a positive effect on the gastrointestinal tract.

Indicated for dietary treatment of the following conditions:
Irritable bowel syndrome
Abdominal pain and bloating
Acute diarrhea of various causes
Persistent constipation
Inflammatory bowel diseases
Disturbed intestinal flora, e.g., during and after antibiotic therapy.
