DESCRIPTION
Organic oat bran is a product that arises during the milling of oats into oat flour. The bran consists mainly of the outer, most valuable layer of the grain, i.e., the fruit and seed coat. Bran is an excellent source of dietary fibre. We recommend bran as an addition to morning porridge and as a coating for cutlets, as an addition to cakes, vegetable pâté, bread, and sauces. We recommend subjecting the bran to a brief heat treatment before consumption.
