Prickly pear oil is made from the seeds of the prickly pear, which grows mainly in warm countries of Latin America and some Mediterranean countries (e.g. islands) and Morocco
It belongs to the relatively expensive oils, firstly because of the method of extraction - one liter of the highest quality oil consists of a million seeds, laboriously extracted from fruits with a total weight of about 450-500 kilograms, and secondly because of its composition and properties.
Prickly pear oil contains many substances, including omega-6 fatty acids, that help care for the face and body. Due to its properties and effects, fig opuntia oil is suitable for all skin types.
The omega-6 fatty acids contained in the oil give the skin more moisture, moisture and suppleness. The linoleic acid contained in prickly pear oil strengthens the lipid protective layer of the skin, which allows it to heal better and regenerate more easily after irritation. The phytosterols contained in the prickly pear have similar properties, thanks to which they stimulate the regeneration and healing of the epidermis, strengthen the skin's protective barrier and thereby prevent the skin from losing water. They also improve the elasticity and density of the skin, thanks to which the prickly pear oil has an anti-wrinkle effect and has therefore earned the name of natural botox.
Vitamin E contained in the oil prevents premature destruction and aging of the skin because it has a strong antioxidant effect, thanks to which it protects against free radicals and wrinkles.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Fig opuntia oil can be used for daily skin care, face and whole body.
For daily facial care: After cleansing, wipe off with a selected hydrosol, heat some oil between your fingers and then gently pat into slightly damp skin.
By adding a few drops of oil to your moisturizer, you will enhance the cream's effects and make it easier to apply by making it more fluid.
