It will probably not surprise anyone that paprika is one of the most popular crops in the world. It is not only widely used as fresh vegetables but also for producing one of the most versatile spices, namely dried, ground paprika. Many types of paprika are cultivated, and depending on the variety and processing method, a whole range of spices is obtained. The main producers of this aromatic spice include: South America, North Africa, Indonesia, Hungary, and Spain. Paprika from Hungarian cultivation is considered stronger and more interesting in taste than Spanish paprika, which is much milder.
Ground paprika has an aromatic aroma and tastes - depending on the variety and processing method - either hot and burning or mild and sweet. In this case, we are dealing with the latter variant. Interestingly, the spiciness of paprika can also be controlled by limiting or increasing the amount of seeds that get into the final product. As you can probably guess, the ground and dried paprika pods are the spicier the more seeds they contain. This aromatic red powder not only gives dishes an exceptional scent and taste but also a bright color. It is a spice that perfectly complements the flavor of all fish and meat dishes, sauces, and soups. It is the basis for iconic dishes such as cured meat and paprikash.
Store it in airtight containers. For this reason, each of our spice packages is equipped with a zipper that makes closing and opening easier. Ground paprika in ordinary foil not only loses its beautiful aroma very quickly after opening but can also easily spill out of the packaging, e.g., in a drawer or cupboard. Your convenience is important to us!
The products in our range labeled as "gluten-free product" are tested in our in-house laboratory using certified methods. Therefore, when you buy our product, you can be 100% sure that it contains no traces of gluten. Contrary to appearances, the presence of gluten in spices is quite common, mainly due to the difficulty of thoroughly cleaning the machines used for processing raw materials.
