The human body is not able to produce vitamin C itself, so it must be obtained from food or after appropriate supplementation. The highest amount of vitamin C in the fruit is found in acerola, which contains 1000 to even 4500 mg per 100 g, followed by the wild rose - which contains a little less, namely 250 to 800 mg of vitamin C per 100 g.
