Yerba Mate Green with Herbs and Fruits

A fairly mild-tasting yerba with good potency. The Yerba Mate is completely dust-free and is well suited for preparation and as an entry-level yerba. The leaves are dried with hot air, without smoke. The special processing gives the dried leaves a vibrant green, grassy color.

Traditionally brewed Yerba mate contains about 165 mg of caffeine, while a normal "small black coffee" contains about 40-50 mg. Yerba mate is rich in nutrients. It is a rich source of vitamins: A, B, C, E, and also contains 9 essential minerals and 15 amino acids.

The blend contains herbs and fruits with the following properties:

• Elderberry - effective aid in treating colds and all upper respiratory infections, anti-inflammatory properties, rich in minerals and vitamins, for detoxifying the body from toxins, supportive use as a pain reliever, also has sweat-inducing properties
• Siberian Ginseng - helpful in treating colds, increases mental and physical performance and concentration, reduces stress, alleviates the effects of chemotherapy and radiation
• Green Tea Gunpowder - rich in vitamins B, K, C and minerals, has antibacterial properties, supports brain function and concentration, strengthens the cardiovascular system
• Coriander fruit - supports the treatment of upper respiratory diseases, rich in B vitamins, cleanses the body of toxins, improves appetite, regulates bowel activity
• Field Horsetail - rich in silicon, useful in treating ulcers, rheumatism, bleeding, tuberculosis, ulcers and other diseases, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect

Preparation of Yerba in the traditional way:

1. Pour the Yerba Mate into a vessel that is about 1/2 to 3/4 of the volume (depending on preference).
2. Cover the vessel with your hand, turn it upside down and shake it up and down several times.
3. Then tilt the vessel at a 45° angle so that the dried food lies on one side of the vessel.
4. Pour 70-80 °C hot water into the free space between the dried goods and the vessel wall.
5. Close the opening of the bombilla with your thumb and insert the tube at the same place where you previously poured the water.
6. Set the prepared mate aside and wait about 2-3 minutes. Add a little more water and... done!

The mate prepared in this way can be poured as often as desired until the aroma is completely washed out.

IMPORTANT: Remember that the bombilla must not be stirred, as otherwise the tube can become clogged.

Composition: 91.8% green mate (95% leaves and 5% stems) and 8.2% additives (green tea powder, Siberian ginseng, coriander fruits, elderberry fruits, field horsetail and natural grapefruit flavor).
