Organic, raw whole cacao beans, derived from the highest quality cacao beans. They are characterized by a dry cocoa taste. Processed at low temperatures to preserve the maximum amount of nutrients. They are the basic ingredient of chocolate. They are also good as an addition to many chocolate products or snacks of all kinds, ice cream, cocktails, cereals, cakes, desserts, as well as coffee and hot chocolate.
Cacao is native to Central and South America. Maya and Aztecs prepare a drink called chocolatl to be drunk during rituals and holidays. In addition to being a delicious base for many delicacies, cocoa seeds are a valuable source of B vitamins to support the nervous system and aid in memory and magnesium concentration.
