In Dr. Jacob's with fat-soluble vitamins, we use the MCT fatty acid fraction, which is derived from coconut oil. Unlike coconut oil itself, which is high in non-food-grade saturated fat that is not beneficial to health, MCT medium-chain fatty acids have many health-promoting and dietary properties, many of which are scientifically proven. One of them is that MCT does not negatively affect the blood lipid profile and does not increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.

MCT has a very beneficial effect on the stability of the vitamins dissolved in this oil. Compared to other oils, MCT also has a much greater resistance to rancidity. Thanks to this, the vitamins from Dr. Jacob's can have a maximum expiration date (2 years) and stays fresh long after the bottle is first opened.
