Taking vitamin C in balanced doses strengthens the body's immune system. This is especially important in the fall and winter seasons and early spring. During this time, the body is particularly exposed to all immune-weakening factors.

Vitamin C is used up more quickly under stress and strain. The human body should absorb at least 60 mg of vitamin C daily. Modern preparations with vitamin C also contain bioflavonoids (e.g. from citrus fruits). They improve the absorption of vitamin C, so it is advisable to take them together.
