Fruit dragées made from xylitol, a healthy sugar from birch bark. Birch sugar is a healthy alternative to artificial sweeteners and sugar. Xylitol contains up to 40 percent. fewer calories than white sugar and also has a much lower glycemic index. For this reason, it is recommended for diabetics and people trying to lose weight. Xylitol does not acidify the body, but causes an alkaline reaction in it, which is why it is recommended for tooth decay and gum disease. It has an antibacterial effect in the oral cavity and freshens breath by eliminating unpleasant odors from the mouth. Dragees contain no artificial colors and flavors. The colors of the dragees come from turmeric and beetroot extracts.
