Nettle is one of those plants that has been familiar to us since childhood. When walking in the woods, we try to avoid it so as not to get burned. However, not everyone knows that nettle was valued since ancient times for its health-promoting properties. It was used, among other things, to treat joints. An interesting fact is that the scientific name of nettle is Urtica dioica, derived from the word uro, which means "to burn." Everyone knows that touching the leaves of this plant leads to unpleasant discomfort in the form of a burning and itchy rash. However, in the form of dried tea or juice, it loses its scalding effect. Nettle juice is a healthy and highly valued dietary supplement. Let's see why.
