How do you use borax to clean?

Bleach for washing and removing stains (e.g. after wine, tea, coffee)
Soak portion - one heaping tablespoon of borax for four liters of water. Mix thoroughly. Soak for about 30 minutes.

Laundry
Borax is an excellent and safe detergent for colored clothes. Just add half a glass of borax to whatever detergent you're using and pour it into the washing machine.

Cleaner for bathtubs, toilets, bathroom tiles and sinks.
Mix borax with water to form a thick paste.
Brush/clean contaminated areas with paste and leave on for 15 minutes. Scrape off after some time and rinse with hot water. Toilet bowl – Pour in half a glass of borax and let sit for at least an hour. Scrub the bowl with a toilet brush and rinse.
