NOW Foods L-Carnitine 1000 mg is the purest, clinically tested and vegetarian form of L-Carnitine. This specificity is an endogenous amino acid that facilitates the transfer of fatty acid groups into the mitochondrial membrane for the production of cellular energy. This substance occurs naturally in red meat and other animal foods.

The pure form of L-Canitin is a water-absorbing amino acid that degrades the quality of the product. To ensure the stability and full strength of the preparation, L-carnitine was used in the form of tartrate.
