Indian nettle or Coleus forskohlii , also known as Indian sage or simply Coleus, is a plant that has been used and valued for years in traditional Indian medicine, among other things as a pain reliever, for combating thyroid disorders and heart disease. Forskolin - Effects and Properties

Forskolin in India is used as a calming agent for inflammation and pain. It supports the treatment of asthma. It also helps regulate proper thyroid function, which is why it is recommended for Hashimoto's disease. It has anti-inflammatory properties, so it can be helpful in autoimmune diseases and relieve their symptoms, such as psoriasis. It also lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of blood clots. Furthermore, it helps fight glaucoma and other eye diseases by lowering eye pressure. Nettle supplements are primarily used in Europe to support weight loss because:

  • stimulates the digestive processes by stimulating the secretion of pancreatic enzymes, pepsin and hydrochloric acid,
  • supports the reduction of body fat and at the same time supports the building of muscle tissue,
  • helps in the release of excess fat, which is transported to the working muscles,
  • supports the production of insulin,
  • helps to achieve the correct glucose level,
  • improves metabolism,
  • reduces appetite,
  • helps to release larger amounts of fats and thus burn them more effectively.

 

Forskolin - Dosage and Side Effects

If you choose to take Forskolin in supplement form, you should take it according to the manufacturer's instructions, as described in the package insert. Typically, this is 1-2 capsules per day.
