Brazilian palm fruit is known in Poland under the name "Acai berry". Its appearance is reminiscent of American blueberries, and its taste is often compared to bitter chocolate. Acai fruit comes from palm trees in the tropical Amazon forests, and its taste and health properties have been valued for hundreds of years by the indigenous population of the Amazon basin. Knowledge of this fruit came to Poland relatively recently. In addition, we do not have fresh fruit as it is not suitable for transportation. To utilize the beneficial properties of this fruit, we can choose from those available on the market, including dietary supplements such as Acai extract capsules or preserves such as juices and Acai berries in freeze-dried form.

What do acai berries contain?

Acai berries are a real vitamin bomb, which makes them one of the healthiest foods in the world. They also contain vitamins C and E and B vitamins B1, B2, and B3. They also contain minerals such as protein, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and even omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids. They also contain antioxidants and a fairly high fiber content.

Acai Juice - Healing Properties

Since fresh acai berries aren't available in Poland, it's worth consuming acai juice regularly instead. It boasts many health benefits:

  • provide necessary ingredients nutritionally supporting this alone system immunological,

  • maintain correct mass body,
  • to remove toxins from the body.

Acai berries for weight loss

Acai berries support the weight loss process thanks to their relatively high fiber content. They create a feeling of satiety, making it easier to control the calories consumed and limit hunger. The fiber contained in berries improves metabolism and regulates the digestive process. In addition, this acai fruit extract or juice helps replenish essential vitamins and minerals, which is very important during a weight-loss diet.

Berries Acai if goji

Although they come from different parts of the world, both acai and goji berries are considered superfoods and are definitely worth incorporating into your daily diet. These fruits contain valuable ingredients and minerals needed to maintain good health. They differ in appearance, taste and type of use - goji berries are usually added to dishes, but dried acai berries in Poland are available mainly in the form of juice and acai freeze - successfully dried they can be added to desserts. Undoubtedly, both types of blueberries deserve our attention.

How to make Acai Bowl?

One of the most interesting and healthy ways to use blueberries is to prepare a nutritious acai smoothie bowl. To prepare it, you will need:

  • 2 tsp powdered or freeze-dried blueberries acai
  • Small cup of natural yogurt
  • Banana (possibly frozen),
  • Pear,
  • Handful of strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries,
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter,
  • Nuts, seeds, seeds, favorite fruits to eat.

In a blender, combine berries, acai, peanut butter, and yogurt, then add the remaining fruit and blend until smooth. The resulting mousse is poured into a bowl and decorated with nuts, seeds, and fresh fruit. In this way, we receive a healthy and nutritious breakfast that allows us to start the new day full of energy.
