- Source of vitamins and minerals
- Source of lutein and zeaxanthin
- recommended for dumplings
Native to central western Asia, spinach is related to quinoa and beetroot, a plant in the amaranth family. It includes three types, the most economical of which is the vegetable spinach, which is grown almost all over the world. His place of birth is probably Persia, from where he came to Europe, starting from Spain.
Spinach leaves are characterized by a high content of beta-carotene, vitamins C, A, K, folic acid, lutein and zeaxanthin. They can also be high in mineral salts, including calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, and potassium. Consuming this green vegetable can help you deal with the effects of too much stress and can also prevent headaches and dizziness.
Spinach is good to eat both raw and cooked. Perfect as an accompaniment to sandwiches, meat, salads or cakes, it is also suitable for dumplings and pancakes.
